Rebecca Tiell-Krekeler

Rebecca Tiell-Krekeler, END Violence School Specialist at University of Colorado’s Center on Domestic Violence, is a licensed clinical social worker with over eight years’ experience in the gender-based violence field. She has worked as an advocate, educator, community organizer, and therapist serving individuals, families, and communities affected by domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. Currently, her work is in K-12 schools providing direct services to students who have experienced violence, consulting to school staff and administrators on high needs cases, and training educators and administrators on creating trauma informed classrooms and school cultures. Becca is passionate about working at every level operating through a trauma-sensitive lens to create more equitable, just, and safe communities.
