Supporting Survivors with Flexible Financial Assistance

Low-barrier flexible financial is critical to meeting the diverse financial needs survivors.  The session will explore the work leading up the launch of the DVP Flexible Financial Assistance Project, notable successes and challenges from the DVP and VFC perspectives and a guided Q&A with community based DV and SA programs participating in this project.  The goals of this workshop are: increase knowledge and understanding of the significance and impact of flexible funding on programs and services, survivors, and program staff.  With this information we hope that more programs are explore flexible financial assistance and have a deeper understanding of how to infuse flexible funding opportunities in to current programs and services.
