Darlene Brace

Darlene has been working to fight violence in her communities her whole life. As a childhood and adult survivor of IPV and sexual assault she is passionate about educating the community about these dynamics and equipping workers with skills to provide longevity. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Addiction Counselor, Clinical Supervisor, Certified Child and Adolescents Trauma Professional, Registered Yoga teacher and nationally trained MI presenter. Darlene is an adjunct professor for DU Graduate School of Social Work and works fulltime as a Behavioral Health Director at a medical clinic. Darlene holds strong ties to her roots in the Colorado mountains and providing rural services. She enjoys offering canine assisted interventions, mindfulness, and wholistic healing.
