Nicolette Gordillo La-Riviere

Nicolette Gordillo-LaRiviere (they/them or she/her) is the Crisis Line and Resource Coordinator at Safehouse Progressive Alliance for Nonviolence (SPAN) in Boulder, Colorado. Nicolette was raised in Boulder County, Colorado, and received a bachelor's degree from Colorado College, double majoring in Asian Studies and Feminist and Gender Studies. They have extensive experience in community organizing as well as over a year of experience in advocacy as a Shelter Advocate at SPAN. Their areas of undergraduate research focused on the intersections of racial and disability justice in the U.S., and they use their knowledge of systems of oppression to implement more equitable policies and procedures to better serve SPAN's crisis line and emergency shelter clients.
