Rachel Rodriguez is the Domestic Violence Outreach Program Director at Family Tree, Inc. She oversees the Outreach Program’s grants, ensures alignment with funder and agency goals and objectives, and supervises Outreach Program Advocates and Interns. Rachel also conducts outreach to community partners seeking opportunities for collaboration to better serve survivors in our community and facilitates trainings to those community partners and their staff. Rachel started her career in the domestic violence field working as a Bilingual Victim Advocate at a local domestic and sexual violence shelter in Austin, Texas. She then became a Manager of Hotline Services for The National Domestic Violence Hotline where she had the fortunate experience of traveling the nation to offer train-the-trainer workshops to Victim Advocates. She traveled to numerous states and as far as the Northern Mariana Islands. Rachel eventually moved to Denver to be closer to family and in 2019, she joined Family Tree, Inc. Rachel offers over fifteen years of experience working in the field of domestic violence and prevention. She is a dedicated and passionate advocate for survivors, strives to increase awareness on domestic violence, and works toward ending it. Rachel lives with her fur baby, Bader, whom she rescued. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cooking, traveling, and going to the movies.
