Conference Policies

SPECIAL ACCOMMODATIONS

CAIA will have two sign language interpreters on-site.  Please contact the Conference Coordinator via email conference@ccadv.org or (303) 521-0201 if you need other accommodations.

CHILDREN

Please note that this conference provides professional training to adults, with content that may not be suitable for young audiences. If children begin to exercise their outdoor voice a volunteer or staff member may ask you to leave a workshop session.

SAFETY

While every effort has been made to ensure the safety of all attendees, the organizers cannot be held responsible and/or liable for any personal accident, loss or damage to private property of those attending the conference. This includes within your guest rooms or vehicles.

NOTICE REGARDING AUDIO/VIDEO RECORDING

CAIA will be taking photographs throughout the conference.  As part of the registration process, you are offered an opportunity to indicate you DO NOT want to be included in any photos.  We will include a small icon on your name badge so our photographers know to keep you out of their shoots.  We also ask that you kindly step back and or mention to staff.

By accepting to be included in photos, you are consenting to the use of your photograph, likeness, video or audio recording in whole or in part, without restriction or limitation for any educational, promotional purpose, for distribution in online, printed publications or other media. You release the event sponsor, its officers, employees, contractors and each and all persons involved from any liability connected with the taking, recording, digitizing or publication of interviews, photographs, computer images, video and/or sound recordings.

By accepting as part of the registration process, you also waive all rights you may have to any claims for payment or royalties in connection with any exhibition, streaming, web casting, television or other publication of these materials regardless of the purpose or sponsoring of such exhibiting, broadcasting, web casting or other publication irrespective of whether a fee for admission or sponsorship is charged. You also waive any right to inspect or approve any photo, video, or audio recording taken by the event host or the person or entity designated to do so by the event host. You have been fully informed of your consent, waiver of liability and release as part of the registration process.

MEMBER ROOM REIMBURSEMENT:

CAIA will not be offering member room reimbursements for the 2023 conference.

Cancellation Policy:

If you need to cancel or change your conference registration, you are responsible for making these changes and any fees incurred. Colorado Coalition Agianst Sexual Assault and Violence Free Colorado are not responsible for any fees associated with cancelations. Cancellations must be received by May 19, 2022 to receive a refund. A $15 processing fee will be deducted from the total refund. To request a cancellation/refund, please email conference@coloradoadvocacy.org

In the event of conference cancelation due to circumstances beyond the control of Colorado Advocacy in Action hosts, Colorado Coalition Agianst Sexual Assault and Violence Free Colorado will not be responsible for registrants’ costs associated with the canceled event.
